I tried to say ‘excuse me’ and ‘I’m sorry’ at the same time. I ended up saying ‘I’m scuse me.’

Who we are

Welcome to Socially Awkward, where overthinking is an art form and waving back at someone who wasn’t waving at you is just part of life. If you’ve ever spent an entire party standing near the snack table because you weren’t sure how to join a conversation, congratulations—you’re one of us. And that’s perfectly okay.

Social Awkwardness isn’t something you fix; it’s just part of being human. We’ve all been there—stuck in our own heads, unsure of what to say, replaying every conversation we’ve ever had like an embarrassing highlight reel. But here’s the thing: you’re not alone. In fact, there are more of us than you think. And if we can’t magically make socializing easier, we can at least make it funnier.

That’s why we created Socially Awkward—to normalize the quirks, the overthinking, and the pauses where you’re not sure if it’s your turn to talk yet. We make bold, relatable products that give people a way to silently (or loudly) announce, “Yeah, I’m awkward. You too? Cool, let’s be awkward together.” Because sometimes, a sticker, a T-shirt, or a water bottle can be the perfect icebreaker for meeting someone who gets it.

Our goal? To create a community where awkwardness isn’t something to hide—it’s something to own. So if you’ve ever tripped over absolutely nothing, walked in the wrong direction and committed to it, or spent hours analyzing a two-second interaction, welcome home. We’re glad you’re here.
